Principles
Principles are the building blocks we use to build the Kingdom of God. Arthur Burk defines a principle as a universal, non-optional, cause and effect relationship. In scripture, God teaches us many principles. For example, He says to train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he won't depart from it.
Don't confuse principle with moral law. Principles describe how the sprit realm, man, and the physical universe work. Moral laws describe the blessings and consequences of our positive or negative relationships with God. As you follow a principle by sheer will, it will be easier and easier to walk in this principle. Following principles of God does not make you more acceptable to Him; God fully accepts and loves you because you are His beloved son or daughter. Following the principles of God in our lives brings more fulfillment and a greater harvest.
Three classes of principles govern our relationships between:
-
Man and matter
-
Man and man
-
Man and the spirit realm

Seven Principles of Wisdom
"Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars." Proverbs 9:1
Design
The principle of design is foundational to all other principles. God created the spirit realm, man and the physical universe to function perfectly. If our relationships with the spirit realm, other people, or the physical world are not working, we need to seek God for the original design as He intended.
Dominion
With the principle of dominion, God designed us with His expectation that we rule over His creation. He has empowered us to rule over our own lives, our physical world, and evil in the spirit realm. God intends us to empower those we lead to also walk in dominion. If we don't exercise our dominion or empower others to have dominion, we can become victims.
Truth
The principle of truth brings life and sets us free. When lies permeate our thinking, death and bondage result. Truth comes with both rights and responsibilities, and God expects us to balance both in our lives so that we are neither powerless or entitled.
Reality
The principle of reality keeps us from living in denial where we don't see the cause and effect relationships of what we do and believe that affect how our lives go. By applying this principle, we don't need to wonder why another person seems to have a better life than we do, even when we think we are doing everything right.
Stewardship
The principle of stewardship empowers us to fully surrender everything to God, so that we live out the truth that our lives are not our own. Jesus Christ paid the price to buy us back from sin and death. He paid for us, and we and everything we have fully belong to Him. We steward what He trusts us with, but it all belongs to the King, including our health, our children, our wealth, and our destinies.
Freedom
With the principle of freedom at work in our lives, we are able to do whatever God has called us to do. As free sons of the King, we have freedom to live our lives to the fullest without obstructions or interference.
Fulfillment
When the principle of fulfillment is applied, life comes into alignment. Everything in our lives works as God intended it to work, like a fine-running car humming at peak performance. All systems are a go!
