Evicting Critters

"He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him—the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning." Psalm 18:11-12

The human spirit goes about the business of evicting critters quite differently than does the human soul. In Psalm 18, God uses fire, burning coals, wind, dark rain clouds, hail, lightning bolts, His voice, arrows, and His breath. Whereas, from our souls, we might command a demon to flee, our spirits might release an East wind or fling a lightning bolt. It's pretty exciting stuff to ask spirit, "What resource do you hold in your hands that you can use to evict this critter who dares to challenge a son of God?" And then step back and watch what spirit does!

Regardless of how we go about it, we always rely on the Finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ and our position in Him.  Learn more
